Emily Howell
Senior Client Service Associate
Born and raised in Portland, Emily attended Lincoln High School before heading to the University of Puget Sound. While there, she studied business and psychology, with the intent of eventually attending law school. Her athletic prowess matched her brainy nature, and she was named a college basketball All-American and Northwest Conference Player of the Year during her college years.
Emily credits her college experiences for giving her the team and leadership skills she still relies on today. She also fell in love with finance during college, which led her to a customer service role at a bank, where she discovered her knack for talking about money with people. She eventually moved into a similar position at a local broker-dealer before landing at Vista.
A natural team player, Emily loves nothing more than sharing her cultivated list of favorite local places to get a great meal. She’s also a huge country music fan, and she and her husband have traveled across the country taking in country music shows. The two live to travel, visiting international destinations to take in the history and incredible local cuisine.
Something you may not know about Emily: She was inducted into the Portland Interscholastic League Hall of Fame in 2024.
