John’s all about processes, which isn’t surprising given that he studied and pursued a career in industrial engineering. He says engineering taught him a systematic approach to problem solving — and he uses that same approach as chief operating officer at Vista.
Remarkably well-read, curious, and intelligent, John is also a champion for inclusivity, frequently seeking ways to enhance our firm’s culture and approach. He’s dedicated to building a strong, cohesive team that can provide clients with the highest level of service possible.
A graduate of Northwestern University, John earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering but made the switch to financial services in 2010 when he joined the Vista team. He gives back to the local community through regular volunteer work, and he has been a past board member for organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters and CYO youth sports.
An avid hiker, skier, and swimmer, John is happiest when he’s on the lake with his family. His favorite spot is in Coeur d’Alene, a treasured family getaway.
Something you may not know about John: He is a proud father of three daughters and enjoys sharing his love of the outdoors with them.
