Our first Chief People Officer, Tana joined Vista for her second act after almost 20 years of leading an HR consulting practice helping employers transform their workplace. Taking Vista’s culture to the next level was a challenge she couldn’t resist.
Before joining Vista, Tana led a team of 55 people at a major professional services firm. She excels at building and developing high-performing teams, and is deeply committed to fostering confidence in others, helping them unlock their potential and thrive in their careers. Tana has also earned national recognition for her leadership in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within the financial services sector.
Tana holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Oregon State University and is an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), holding the SHRM-SCP certification. She is dedicated to giving back to her community, currently serving as Board Chair for Project Lemonade and as a member of the FPA of Oregon Board. Additionally, she previously served as the Corporate Walk Chair for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Portland and was on the Board of Trustees. Tana also enjoys mentoring college students and early to mid-career professionals.
Tana seeks joyful balance both at work and at home. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, volunteering, hiking, golfing, practicing yoga, attending outdoor concerts, and savoring wine and meaningful conversations.
Something you may not know about Tana: She’s an excellent listener with a genuine interest in connecting and understanding what drives people. Tana has also served as an Expert Witness in court and is constantly seeking opportunities to improve her Spanish language skills.
