Not everyone can say they enjoy research – but it’s a passion for Preston, who often puts his analytical skills to use when he’s helping Vista’s clients. He previously interned at UBS and another Portland firm before joining the Vista team in 2024.
Preston graduated from Washington State University, where he received his bachelor’s in business administration with a concentration in finance. While at WSU, he was the portfolio manager for the $5 million endowment fund and was also a recipient of the WSU President’s Award for Safety.
In his off hours, Preston loves to travel and spend time with his family, including his fiancé. He also enjoys reading, writing, playing music, and researching philosophy and history.
Something you may not know about Preston: He is learning Romanian, which he hopes to use in his travels.
